PSA and will-do list
First, a public service announcement: Just because it doesn't have a tag on it, or your cashier can't find the bar code, or the machine tells you it's an "item not found," doesn't mean it's free. And your cashier no longer thinks that joke is cute or funny. In fact, your price-challenged item has just caused a huge hassle for your cashier, the good people in line behind you, and, yes, yourself. So be a good shopper. Double-check the shelf. Look for the bar code. And if you're not sure, more and more stores now have price scanners located throughout the sales floor. It's only free if the ad tells you so. Or you have a coupon. Then, too. Thank you. This week's weekly challenge: "So this week, identify (but don't dwell on) the limiting beliefs you have around what you are wanting to create." Ok. Let's see. There's too much to do in September, I'll never get it all done. Well, not all of it is important. Unfortunately, those are the things I was really looking forward too, and thus I need to give them *some* priority for my own sake. So. I *will* exercise a few times a week with the bf. On the evenings I do not exercise, I *will* spend one half hour on creative writing. I *will* co-ordinate my schoolwork to a schedule, and do my best to keep on schedule. I will enlist the bf to help me, and do likewise for him. I *will* create a timeline for getting ready for grad school and JVC. I *will* make sufficient appointments so that, among other things, I can get my permit again. I suck at writing transitions. I *will* force myself to ask "what happens next." The problem comes when I've answered that and wonder, "well, how did that happen?" I will write what I think of -- minor blanks can be filled in on the re-write, but major blanks are just plot holes. I can't bring my GPA up. I *will* stay on top of my schoolwork. I *will* create a reading list so that I can keep up with the texts. I *will* reserve recreational reading and writing until the daily reading list is complete. I am not sufficiently well-read, especially given that I'm an English Major. I *will* keep up with my online book club. I *will* carry a book everywhere, be it an assigned reading, a book club book, or a personal read. OK. Well. This may be added to as I think of more.
